| You Go Girl - A Totally Private Bathroom Experience |
Who is YGG not meant for?
People who think a bathroom experience HAS to be unpleasant.
A friend told me about this product, but is this a joke?
A friend sent you, huh?
What are the benefits of using YGG?
You Go Girl foam dampens the sounds, eliminates splash and significantly reduces the odor associated with using the toilet. YGG also provides a pleasant scent, both while you are doing your business and after you leave the bathroom and more often than not eliminates offensive odors. In addition, the YGG foam, along with closing the toilet lid, reduces PLUME and you'll clean less too, making the whole bathroom a more sanitary space in your home or office. Check out our ‘How It Works’ videos.
What is PLUME?
Click on the link on the bottom of this page for a more detailed explanation of PLUME. Basically when you flush the toilet, airborne particles of waste are spread around the bathroom. The YGG foam helps prevent the spread of PLUME and odor. If you can smell it, there’s something in the air.
If closing the toilet lid greatly reduces Plume, why use You Go Girl?
First, that’s what is wonderful about YGG, it offers so much, splash elimination, odor reduction and fresh scent to again name just a benefits. However, if you notice your average bathroom toilet outside your home; for example at your workplace, doctors’ office or church bathroom, the toilets often do not have a lid. These are also the places you would like a more private and discrete bathroom experience.
How do I use it?
Just pour it in. If using the travel packet, one packet is usually plenty. For some, two packets provide an added degree of odor reduction and time to sit and relax on the throne.
Using the container, pour in enough to create a thick protective layer of foam that suits you. It may take a use or two to establish what is the right ‘pour’ for you.
Is it safe for my septic system?
YES! Phosphate free, there are no harsh chemicals to harm sewer or septic systems. Our patented formula is EPA approved. Further we do not need and have chosen to not add disinfectants, they would harm your septic system. The You Go Girl foaming agent is very biodegradable and has no negative implications to your septic or local sewer system. It’s really a revolutionary product, made with today’s concerns in mind of responsible and caring people around the world.
Is it safe if I get the foam or powder on my skin or in my eyes?
Yes! Although you would not intentionally put the powder or foam in your eyes or rub it on your skin, there are no harsh chemicals to our formula. If you happen to somehow get it in your eyes, just rinse calmly with water and seek medical attention if irritation persists. Avoid breathing any of the powder, it reacts to moisture of course and you may briefly experience a tingling in your nose. If so, blow your nose, rinse with water if you feel necessary.
I’m very concerned about the safety of any products and even the food in my home. How safe overall is the You Go Girl powder?
Of course, do not eat the powder, if accidental ingestion occurred, drink plenty of water, see a doctor if stomach pain occurs. We had options when creating the unique patented formula that makes up You Go Girl; there were phosphates, disinfectants and other chemicals not core to our goal, we do not use them. We spent 3 years testing and improving a blend of mild chemicals, fragrance and some organic acids. Our foam is not regulated as a DOT hazardous material; it’s biodegradable, phosphate free and overall safer than most of the cleaners and chemicals such as insect sprays and bleach normally found around the home. Still, keep YGG out of the reach of children who may become curious with its interesting foaming action and use with the same care you would with any household product or even proper food preparation.
In fact, it is our hope that by eliminating the splashing of toilet water in and around the toilet, reducing odor particles and plume in the air YGG will improve the overall cleanliness of your bathroom. Therefore you’ll not need to spray air fresheners and you will use harsh chemicals in cleaners less often to clean.
Will YGG work in water conserving low flush toilets?
Actually, the YGG powder is designed to work best in modern low flush toilets. By increasing the effective surface area (water line) of a low flush toilet you'll notice you'll clean less too. The videos on the link 'Watch it Work' are worth a thousand words.
Can I dispose of the packet into the toilet?
Please do not, use the trashcan. The packets can cause a blockage if flushed and it would also interfere with the proper formation of the foam.
Sometimes one packet doesn’t seem enough, how much powder is in a travel packet?
One ounce. Our research and testing with women (and some men) across the country led us to 1 oz. There are situations where 2 packets are best such as larger water volume toilets or how long you spend in the bathroom. In most situations, the benefits of odor reduction and splash are realized with just one travel packet.
How about a larger container for home and office use?
We will be introducing a few new line extensions (as they are called in the industry). A 16 oz home and office size container is available now. Soon, a kid scented and colored powder for potty training and a few new scents. We will also be offering a larger bulk powder container to refill the smaller 16-ounce containers. We would love to hear your ideas.
Can I buy it in a store near me?
More and more retailers such as drug and grocery stores, hair salons and larger retail chains around the world are stocking and offering YGG. It's a phenomenon. If your local retailer does not have it, ask them to stock it.
What about men?
'GottaGo' is on the way. Men benefit greatly when it comes to splash reduction, research also shows that when men have a target while standing and 'going' their aim improves greatly and the splash from within the toilet that lands all over the bowl, rim and floor is dramatically reduced, if not eliminated. So get your man to use YGG and you'll clean a whole lot less. Just tell him it's fun, like writing his name in the snow!
